SkyWAN IDU 2000

Introduction

SkyWAN Compact is an MF-TDMA VSAT system for Mesh Topology that supports Video, Voice and data applications.

SkyWAN compact is an IDU 2000, 3 slot chassis. Total throughput data rate capacity is 70Mbps.

The SkyWAN® Compact package combines SkyWAN® IDU 2000 together with the low power Radio Frequency Transmitter (RFT) family in a highly integrated and compact format. SkyWAN® IDU 2000 is a derivate of the SkyWAN® IDU 5000 making use of the same technology. It is capable of providing the same user interfaces as the SkyWAN® IDU 5000.

SkyWAN® 2000 is compatible with the SkyWAN® IDU 5000 system. It is offered in Star mode with an upgrade option to a Fully Meshed Network topology. It is a slim-line, 2 HU unit, consisting of 3 slots.
